"I had built an extension on my house in 2004. The contractors I Hired were fly-by-night to say the least, and months later were out of business. Since 2004, whenever it rained heavily or snowed, the Water would find its way in to my bedroom where the extension had joined the existing part of the room, so whenever it rains heavily or snowed it would actually rain in my bedroom. I have tried several roofers/friend/referrals and while it was a temporary fix, this has caused even more damage throughout the years, I was told many times that if I wanted to resolve the problem the correct way, I was going to have to rip down the entire extension. Well, I knew that was never going to happen.

My dad had mentioned to find out if Avellino Construction was still in business, as he had worked on my dad‘s roof back in 1999. So at this point I’m thinking, what do I have to lose? So I Googled Avellino Construction and to my surprise he was still in business. When he answered the phone he actually remembered me, and my dad. When he came by he gave me several different suggestions, as well as pricing. I had plans to go away the week he was going to be starting the job. He called me every day, sometimes even twice a day; to give me updates and even sent me videos. He also mentioned that there were some setbacks that were not expected and even though it took two extra days to complete (I remember him calling me and telling me that there was tar stuck together on many of the shingles and each one had to be scraped apart. He took pictures along the way to show me the progress and even though it took extra days to complete, he honored his original price.)

 All I can say is he did an amazing job, takes pride in what he does and is extremely efficient. I would suggest anyone who wants the job done right the first time, to call Joe Avellino."

""As the result of a snow storm my gutters and roof were damaged on Saturday. I contacted this company on the day of the snow storm the owner came out himself and made a temporary repair that day as the weather would not let him complete the fix. The next day he showed up with a full crew and they worked all day into the evening and returned on Monday in another snowstorm to finish the repairs and replacement. They did an excellent cleanup each day. Came out during a storm to access the damage and do a temporary repair and returned the next two days including during another storm on Monday with a full crew to complete the job. Each day they did an excellent cleanup. A very professional company that I would highly recommend."
